Pinkney Lugenbeel letters from Fort Randall, Dakota Territory, 1875-1876.

Two ALS to "My dear Doctor," describing living conditions and military affairs at Fort Randall, and activities of family and mutual friends. The two letters are dated April 5, 1875, and February 14, 1876, and were written when Lugenbeel was a Lieutenant Colonel with the 1st Infantry.
